Alright so its up, finished now. Before, I considered a number of things that could go in the spot where the “virtual boy” is. I got a ton of suggestions, ranging from the bizzarre (n64?) to the obscure (sonic DS rpg). So anyway, I think I will try to get a new comic up every Wednesday. I might throw extra ones up, but you never know. I’m sure you’ve all heard the news about the PS3 by now. They’ve dropped the price on the 60 gig version and it’ll be $499 (us) till the stock of it runs out. Also they’ve announced that the new 80 gig version will not have an emotion engine in it. That means that it won’t run all PS2 games and they’ll use software emulation to run PS2 games from now on. So, I’ve been thinking and I know that I eventually want a PS3 so I decided that this is really the best time to pick one up. If I get one now, especially if I pick it up in the States, which I might next week I will be getting it at a good price and I won’t lose any of the functionality that I might if I were to hold out till the new 80 gig version hits $499. Plus it would mean I have the trifecta of new gen gaming consoles, and who among us hardcore doesn’t want that? I do wonder though if I have some sort of bizarre compulsion to get all of the consoles of a certain generation. I bought an X-Box at the very tail end of the consoles life-cycle and it really didn’t benefit me. However, I did have a complete trifecta, and I felt a sort of void had been filled.
