It’s snowing in Toronto again! Yay!

When I write my comics there are a bunch of things that go through my head. Is this something that I’ve seen on another site? Am I ripping off anybody? Who do I know that would find this funny? What I try and strive for is creating a comic that I think is funny and touches on topics about gaming (or in the rare case, something else that’s got my shorts in a bunch) that no one else hasn’t already said.I don’t want to be a Penny Arcade rip off, or a White Ninja imitator. I want people to see my work as something unique. Let me know if you think I’m falling short of my goal, I’d really appreciate the feedback. Last Saturday I was out and about in Toronto with my brother and after taking my leave of him I decided to go see Juno at the Eglington Famous Players. The lineups were huge. So instead I downloaded it. After watching it today I gotta say it’s the best movie I’ve seen this year. It’s a touching and very funny movie that I’d highly reccommend you watch.

Mario Galaxy is superb. The great thing about it is the stirring music, the easy to learn gameplay, the bright and beautiful worlds can all be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age. When I have my own children I can assure you they won’t be playing Unreal Tournament 3 (best multiplayer 1st person shooter on the PS3 btw) or Gears of War till they’re at least 16. The Mario series though will be some of the first games they play. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit down and have some simple, wholesome fun.
