They aren’t if you didn’t start playing until 3rd gen. I believe it was with the game McKinnon bought to see if he still liked the series.
Alright, if you never played Gold or Silver then yes these would be good. For people like me who’ve been playing since Red and Blue on the old gray brick Gameboy, then take a pass.
Pokemon is perhaps Nintendo’s greatest digital sodomy (Even more so than Mario). They get you time and time again (with new titles) and add a little more lube (game features) each time to keep it going. And unlike in Mario games where it’s the same cast and formula with a slight mix of back grounds, with Pokemon they got clever and kept adding more Pokemon to the roster, fooling the consumer into thinking they were getting something entirely knew when secretly… it’s still just butt sex to them.
I enjoy getting chased by a lawn mower in it. Also, if a Pokemon gets a boob job, it’s Gardvoir.
Alright, now I gotta look up Gardevoir in google image search… WHOA! It appears many people would agree with you Tyranichomp.
