Cyclops is just pissed because parachute generation could have saved him the head trauma he endured as a child that stopped him from being able to control his optic blasts.
It’s not just parachute generation that he has though. As with many other of today’s videogame characters he also has an advanced healing factor.

Parachute generation sure would be a useful thing. I could go base jumping anywhere I wanted.
