I’ve been feeling very callbacky lately, what with the comic about Galaxy 2 last week and now this.
Two years ago I did a my first story arc about Guillaume trying to be a superhero named the Gargoyle. It purposefully didn’t work out for him as I wanted to set the tone for the character as being a failure. In that instance he tried to fight crime but couldn’t find any and so he gave up, dejected and disillusioned.
That story arc started here. The title of today’s comic is taken from the third panel of this strip here (which is my favorite strip of that arc).

Ha! I love the expression on Jim’s face. I think the Gargoyle would have faired okay fighting Canadian crime, just not perhaps in the GTA. Wait a minute, where does this all take place?!?!?

I have not Mckinnon. I merely know the basic plot of the comic book and assumed that the movie followed suit. I will let you know when I’ve seen the film you hate so much.

I agree Evan, McKinnon you are off your rocker. Kickass was unexpectedly awesome. A great change of pace from most superhero movies.

Based purely on movie trailers alone, the movie doesn’t strike me as much of anything. Were I offered to see it for free I may had I nothing better to do… but other than that, I think I’ll wait for a rental. The real big screen prize is yet to come… IRON MAN 2!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree Gav, Iron man 2 will take over my soul and bring me into an eternal state of happiness and true understanding of what it is to be awesome.
