I have not played Alan Wake yet, though I do very much intend to.
What I’ve heard about it again and again in reviews though is that the facial animation is terrible and really pulls you out of the experience. Every other part of the graphics, especially the lighting looks incredible, but the faces seem like they’re from five years ago.
I suspect I’ll be doing at least another comic about the game once I’ve played it, which thanks to a free rental Rogers Video coupon, will be pretty soon.
