I got an inkling on Sunday to put Bender together in photoshop from real metal things. The result is awfully creepy.
I attended Fan Expo this year in Toronto, as I have for the past couple years. The difference this year is that I went in costume. I was told the night before that everyone else I was to be attending with were going to be in costume. Working feverishly over that night I assembled a Magneto costume out of things I had lying around. An old toy motorcycle helmet I’ve had since I was eight, the lycra bodysuit from my Flash costume (see below),
and several other odds and bobs. I was pretty pleased with the end result.
Afterwards, once the photos were posted to Facebook, my fellow cartoonist and internet pal Kyle Lees started this conversation on Twitter.
That last linked picture was this.
Which made me think, what if I tried to make this actually badass looking? Leading to the below image.
TL,DR: Fan Expo was tons of fun. If you get a chance to go, try and dress up.

In this easy listening episode we discussed Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, Assassins Creed, Fat Princess, Captain America and Horrible Bosses, among other topics.
